Over and Out

The 365 day challenge is finally finished!!  Congratulations to everyone that finished this challenge - both in our little group and others doing the challenge.  It was hard slog and I got off to a late start so didn't have quite so many days as the others!

It was a great thing to do and really got you to use your camera and challenge yourself to do new things but it did become a chore some weeks with a last minute struggle to get photo's.  My go to subjects in this instance were Victoria Park on the way home, flowers (I think I have photographed every flower within a 500m radius of my house) and the kids!

This year I am embarking on a new and slightly less arduous challenge with a bigger group - the 52 week challenge - one photo a week for 52 weeks.  It's going to be great not to HAVE to take a photo every day and the kids will love not constantly having a camera pointed at them.  I am also challenging myself to step outside of my comfort zone and concentrate a bit more on the type of photo's I really love doing.  You can follow my weekly posts at this new site here.

I have my book with the photo's of the year all ready to go with 5 pages left to fill.  Can't wait to snap some Christmas photo's over the coming week and am uber excited about getting to photograph my cousins new baby tomorrow!

Week 49



Lots of great opportunities to get photo's this week and I am really pleased with my photo's this week and a little bit nostalgic that there is only 3 weeks left.  I have been going through all my pictures to put them into a book at the end of the year and it is really cool to see how far I have come in a year - I would definitely recommend the challenge to anyone!
